SUMMARY:Artists' Film International 2022
DESCRIPTION:Artists' Film International (AFI) is a collaborative project featuring film\, video and\n\nanimation from around the world. Established by the Whitechapel Gallery in 2008\, AFI\n\nincludes 20 global partner organisations. Each organisation selects an exciting recent\n\nwork by an artist from their region which is shared amongst the network.\n\nThe programme is adapted to every venue and is shown over the course of a year.\n\nArtists' Film International 2022 programme responds to the theme of climate.\n\nFor this year's participation Crawford Art Gallery has invited Irish artist Bassam\,\n\nSabbah to present his powerful and timely film Wandering\, Wandering with a Sun on\n\nmy Back (2018).\n\n \n\nHere\, in the dedicated screening room of Crawford Art Gallery\, films will be shown in a\n\nlooped presentation of three to four films changing every five weeks.\n\n \n\nNow Screening Ewelina Jarosz and Justyna G rowska\, Cyber Wedding to the Brine Shrimp from Friday 18 August - Sunday 18 September.
