DESCRIPTION:Jesse (Ethan Hawke) is a young American travelling through Europe. C line (Julie Delpy) is a French student returning to Paris after visiting her grandmother. They strike up a conversation on a train travelling from Budapest to Vienna. Jesse suggests to C line that she should also experience Vienna with him and postpone the rest of her journey until the following morning. During the next 14 hours they reveal their most intimate thoughts and experiences as they wander around the city. Each of these pictures are sharply written\, finely acted and eloquently directed as they detail the relationship of Jesse and C line over an 18-year period.
