At the finish line participants will be greeted with light refreshments\, an ice cream van and a balloon release along the water's edge\, making it a great family fun event and one for all ages. Bus ireann will be on hand to provide a free shuttle bus to escort participants from the finish line back to their cars.\n\n\n\nWith an expected attendance of 300 people the Blue Balloon Fun Run & Walk is a great way to raise awareness of autism in our community as well as helping to raise vital funds for client transportation services at the Cork Association for Autism. The charity now provide supports to over 300 adults with autism. Services provided include residential care\, respite\, day service\, home support and an Asperger Syndrome Support Service.\n\n\n\nParticipants are being encouraged to register online at www.corkautism.ie to book their place. Entry fee is 15 for adults\, 5 for children under 12 and FREE with a sponsorship card which can be requested by calling Carol on 021 453 3642 or by emailing c.walsh@corkautism.ie.
