It will be a blended festival\, with in-cinema screenings 5th - 12th and a digital festival 13th - 21st. Funded by an Arts Council of Ireland Film Project Award\, 'All that is\, is Light' uses a range of formats\; film\, HD and DV to create a contemporary archive of the commonplace - a personal diary film of sorts. "What began as an experimental 'road movie'\, slowly evolved into a film that stayed closer to home\; images and sounds from one particular place: a boiling sea in winter\, the tranquility of seals singing at night\, a boat sidling along the Stag Rocks\, my mother laughing and singing\, my children looking for shells in the dusk.
