DESCRIPTION:Cork Chamber will once again partner with the Chartered Accountants Cork Society to bring you "Demystifying Data" a breakfast event that will help you to find valuable insights in your data through analysis.\n\n \n\nAll businesses have plenty of data at their fingertips\, but learning how to analyse and utilise this data is a mystery to most of us.  This event will help you to see and understand the data that you have worked hard to build up over the years.\n\n \n\nWe are delighted to have Jason Burns\, IBM and Yvonne Holmes\, AIB as our guest speakers. On the day we will also have some key case studies\, who will bring their experience of data analytics to life and help you gain insight into how data can work for your business.\n\n \n\nJason Burns has had a variety of roles within the IT sector beginning in software development as a technical writer\, then progressing to team management positions before finally gaining his PMP qualification and moving into a variety of project management roles. Since joining IBM\, Jason has spent several years working in the data and analytics arena\, covering data warehousing\, business intelligence through to advanced analytics solutions - helping customers make the most of their data to help drive the business growth.\n\n \n\nYvonne Holmes is a member of the Retail and Commercial Banking Senior Leadership team of AIB where she Heads up the Business Performance & Analytics Team\, leading a team of over 80 Data Scientists and Information Analysts . The role of analytics in business has come to the forefront in recent years in helping businesses understand their customers\, drive business decisions and clearly monitor the success of these decisions.  Yvonne has also led a number of significant business change transformation programmes throughout her career and is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion board in AIB.
