Perspectives from clinicians\, industry\, scientists\, and patients will be shared during the event and will include presentations and an interactive panel discussion. \n\n\n\nThe event is part of an annual pan-European initiative highlighting the impact of new and emerging health technologies in the fight against cancer. These experts will focus on how HealthTech will provide solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Cancer is still the second leading cause of death worldwide. In Ireland the number of cancer cases is increasing. Current estimates suggest that 1 in 2 people will be affected by cancer in Ireland during their lifetime.
