DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special 'In Conversation' event with artist Eithne Jordan and curator Margarita Cappock as they discuss the exhibitions Mise en sc ne\, Parts I and II.\n\n\n\nFree but advance booking recommended via Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/in-conversation-eithne-jordan-margarita-cappock-tickets-432450419847\n\n\n\nCurated by Margarita Cappock\, Mise en sc ne\, Part II (until 8 January 2023) takes the form of an intervention in our Sculpture Galleries as twenty-one exquisite miniature paintings by Eithne Jordan nestle amongst the historic Canova Casts.\n\n\n\nThe exhibition's companion\, Mise en sc ne\, Part I ran at Highlanes Gallery\, Drogheda from 27 August to 1 October 2022.\n\n\n\nEithne Jordan lives and works in Dublin and in the Languedoc\, France. She has exhibited widely in Europe and is a member of both Aosd na and the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA)\, where she holds the position of Keeper.\n\nDr Margarita Cappock is a curator and art historian. Formerly Head of Collections and Deputy Director of the Hugh Lane Gallery\, she now works at Dublin City Arts Office and is Chair of ICOM Ireland.\n\n\n\nThis event in part of the EITHNE JORDAN: Mise en sc ne\, Part II exhibition programme.
