DESCRIPTION:Every year countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day (WBDD). The event serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank voluntary blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood.  In Ireland\, 1 in 4 of us will require a transfusion at some stage of our lives and only 3% of the eligible population donate.\n\n \n\nTo celebrate World Blood Donor Day on 14th June 2024 we will have 2 Blood Donor clinics in Cork City on Thursday 13th June.\n\n \n\nSt Finbarrs                       3.15pm   7.15pm\n\nPairc Ui Chaoimh            2.30pm   6.50pm\n\n \n\nWe would appreciate if you could inform your staff of these clinics as they may be willing to start their Blood Donation journey with us
