DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Tech Industry Alliance Leaders Awards will take place on the 10th of November in Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork and was officially launched by Minister Michael McGrath.\n\nFor over 16 years\, the Leaders Awards have recognised those who have excelled in the technology sector in the South West region of Ireland. From global multinationals to schools and start-ups\, the Leaders Awards recognise those who have showcased their unique talents in the use of technology in their respective organisations and businesses. This year\, the Tech Industry Alliance Leaders Awards will be celebrating "Leaders of Excellence & Innovation" in the South West.\n\nThe leaders' awards categories are currently open to applicants\, with judging taking place virtually in the coming weeks. Each year there is a significant increase in the volume and quality of applicants\, and we anticipate another extraordinary year. Winners will be announced at the gala dinner awards night and there will be lots of networking\, celebrating\, and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.\n\nWe strongly encourage members\, the general public\, and the tech community to actively participate in this extraordinary awards ceremony by submitting nominations. Whether you nominate someone else or choose to self-nominate\, all nominations are welcome and highly encouraged.\n\nNominations will remain open until October 6th\, 2023. Following that deadline\, a judging panel consisting of expert industry representatives will evaluate all nominations for each category to select finalists and winners who truly stand out.\n\nThe 2023 Tech Industry Alliance Leaders Awards are split into ten categories\, the first eight are open to the public for nominations. Categories include:\n\n\n	Tech Start Up of the Year\n	Tech Scale Up of the Year\n	Multinational of the Year\n	Excellence in Education\n	Smart Technology Innovation Award\n	Tech Industry Alliance Skillnet Best Learning Workplace Award\n	Diversity\, Inclusion & Social Impact Award\n	Environmental Sustainability Award\n	Tech Person of the Year\n	Chairperson Award\n\n\nThe Tech person of the Year award will be selected by the Tech Industry Alliance Executive Board and goes to an individual who has demonstrated many years commitment to the tech industry in the South West region.\n\nThe Chairperson Community Award is nominated by the Chairperson of Tech Industry Alliance. This award focuses on giving recognition to a particular group or project that has positively influenced the Tech community in the South West region of Ireland.
