Entitled 'What's in a name? How to really put your people at the heart of your company brand and identity'\, the keynote speaker on the night will be Mairead Maher\, Vice President of Marketing at Poppulo (formerly Newsweaver).\n\n\n\nMs. Maher will outline the strategic thinking that led to the decision to rebrand from Newsweaver to Poppulo earlier this year\, and how it was so much more than a name change. Attendees at the MII Cork event\, sponsored by Grant Thornton\, will have the opportunity to hear the story of Cork-based Poppulo and its expansion from an email marketing Software Company in Bandon to a global leader in employee communications.  Poppulo has doubled its workforce over the past year and a half\, with the majority based at its Cork Airport Business Park HQ\, where the company's ground-breaking software was developed. It also has an office in Boston and further growth and expansion is being planned.\n\n\n\nWith extensive and diverse senior management and marketing experience\, ranging from media\, creative brand agency and food industries\, Ms. Maher will detail how the rebrand resulted from the need to align the company's identity with its mission and global ambition\, which is to help companies realise the full potential of their employees through highly effective internal communications.
