SUMMARY:Overburden by Fiona Kelly opens in Triskel Gallery Space
DESCRIPTION:The first exhibition in Triskel Gallery Space is Overburden by Fiona Kelly and it opens on Thursday 16 January at 6pm. All are welcome.\n\n\n\nFiona Kelly is drawn to the rapid metamorphosis of territory\, both urban and rural\, in an age of environmental crisis. 'Overburden' is an exhibition featuring recent and newly made works examining connections between the built environment\, sense of place\, displacement and topography.\n\n \n\n\n\n\nFiona Kelly is an artist based in Cork. She studied at CIT Crawford College of Art & Design\, Cork. Her work has been shown in museums\, galleries and festivals\, including Impressions Biennial\, Galway\; Mermaid Arts Centre\, Bray\, County Wicklow\; Cork Printmakers\; 126\, Galway\; The Glucksman\, Cork\; Galleria Ratamo\, Jyv skyl \, Finland\; Spike Island\, Bristol\, England.\n\n \n\nThis exhibition is co-produced with Cork Printmakers.
