Starting with the impressive independently made SMITHEREENS\, she went onto direct the wonderfully witty DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN with Rosanna Arquette and Madonna\, the good-natured sci-fi comedy MAKING MR. RIGHT with John Malkovich\, and the wickedly humorous revenge tale SHE-DEVIL\, which gave Meryl Streep her first comedic role. Check out all of these films which are screening part of this season.
