DESCRIPTION:Please join us at this year's St Luke's Charity & Home Annual Corporate Lunch Fundraiser taking place on Wednesday 6 November 2024 at the Maryborough Hotel & Spa\, Douglas\, Cork.\n\n \n\nWe are looking forward to welcoming former T naiste & Minister for Enterprise\, Trade & Employment\, Simon Coveney TD as our guest speaker this year.\n\n\n\nReception at 12.15pm\, with lunch at 1pm sharp.\n\n\n\nSt Luke's Charity is one of Cork's oldest institutions\, caring for the older people of Cork for over 150 years. \n\nWe continue to be a leading provider of residential care (clinical\, physical\, social & spiritual) to 128 residents and 100 Daycare clients from the Cork region every week\, many of whom are living with different forms of Dementia. \n\n\n\nIn fact\, Dementia care is the area we specialise in\, having opened Cork's first dedicated Dementia care unit in 1994 and since then\, a Dementia education and research centre at Northridge House on the St Luke's campus in Mahon\, which also provides Dementia care training to the wider health care sector.\n\n\n\nAll funds raised will be used to support our services with particular focus on our Dementia units\, associated services and Dementia outreach partnerships and programmes. \n\n\n\nSincere thanks to this year's sponsor - Kare Plus South Cork - Nursing and Health Care Services Cork.
