Rather than memorising information\, participants extract their own insights from the books and discussions. The aim is to encourage participants to think anew about what 'Leadership' is or should really be about.\n\n\n\nLast Winter/Spring Professor Fanning and his team of international and experienced facilitators successfully delivered its first Reading for Change Book Club which saw 21 talented professionals from various sectors complete the programme over the course of eight months. \n\n\n\nParticipants particularly valued the programme's focus on enabling them to create their own Leadership Capability and not follow other people's traits - and to become more confident with greater clarity\, creativity\, and connection to others.\n\n\n\nThe programme also marks a departure from exam-based learning\, although it is CPD eligible for participants. It also provides an opportunity for networking and learning with people from various industries and backgrounds which can further dissolve the calcified walls that can divide industries and thereby perpetuate limiting perspectives. \n\n\n\nBookings are now being taken: http://keynes.ucc.ie/book-club/.
