SUMMARY:Winter Exhibition - Opening reception Thursday 06 November
DESCRIPTION:Opening reception Thursday 06 November\n\n\n\nThe Winter Exhibition is a seasonal showcase of the best in Irish art\, craft and design including paintings\, prints\, sculpture\, ceramics\, textiles and much more\, with prices to suit every budget in the run-up to Christmas and into the New Year. Support local artists and makers as well as Lavit Gallery\, a not-for-profit arts organisation and registered charity. Each year the exhibition features work by over 50 artists and makers including regular contributors and new additions. \n\n\n\nThis year the Winter Exhibition coincides with the opening of a new footbridge that will take pedestrians from South Main Street right to our front door. The bridge is expected to open in the first half of November. This is an exciting time for Lavit Gallery as this increased access and the associated improvements to the surrounding roads and pavements will make Wandesford Quay a more frequented thoroughfare. We look forward to being discovered by new audience and customers. \n\n\n\nIn 2025 artists and makers in the Winter Exhibition include Barbara Hubert Bookbindery\, Badly Made Books\, Anne Bologna\, Ballyhoura Ceramics\, Cormac Boydell\, Sonia Caldwell\, Patrick Cashin\, Johanna Connor\, Carmel Creaner\, William Crozier\, Hugh Cummins\, Claire Dooley\, Sinead Fagan\, Megan Fahy\, Angela Fewer\, Ita Freeney\, Angela Gardner\, Anita Geaney\, Mags Geaney\, Evelyn Goold\, Ciara Gormley\, Sonja Guenther\, Sean Hanrahan\, Joseph Heffernan\, Etain Hickey\, Oonagh Hurley\, David Kavanagh\, Gary Kearney\, John Kennedy\, Kilcoe Studios\, Judy Kravis\, Sara Long\, Antonio Julio L pez Castro\, Roseanne Lynch\, Fidelma Massey\, Deirdre McKenna\, Mindful Maker\, Evelyn Montague\, Janet Murran\, Gillian Nunan\, Shane O'Driscoll\, Dee Pieters\, Michael Quane\, Victor Richardson\, Sara Roberts\, Joanne Robey\, Eileen Singleton\, Brian Smyth\, Aoife Soden\, Siobhan Steele\, Katharina Treml\, Bernadette Tuite\, Jim Turner and Grainne Watts. \n\n\n\nCork Arts Society (now trading as Lavit Gallery) is a not-for-profit arts organisation and registered charity\, founded in 1963 to promote an appreciation of art in Cork. Thank you for your support.
