DESCRIPTION:This winter we are asking you to boost your wellbeing\, build your wellness and embrace the short days of winter by participating in the AsIAm Winter Wellie Walk.\n\n \n\nWhat better way exists than to pull on your wellies\, pop on your coat and get out into the fresh air with your family\, a group of colleagues or indeed just yourself and fundraise for AsIAm.\n\n\n\nThere are so many locations in all our local areas that we can walk be it a park\, a beach\, a forest\, a pitch in fact anywhere that is safe and you can wear your boots and wellies.\n\n\n\nAs you know\, AsIAm is Irelands Autism Charity and we have a strategy of Building Capacity\, Removing Barriers.\n\nTo deliver this we need your support and help. As a Non-Governmental Organisation (NG0) 75% of our income has to be generated from Business\, Individuals and the community. Your support is vital.\n\nWe feel that we have a serious programme of work to complete\, and this cannot be achieved without your support. Our targets to the end of 2025 include. \n\n\n	\n	20\,000 people will have received support through our Autism Information Line\n	\n	\n	15\,000 people will have benefitted from access to our Support Webinars/Seminars/Conference\n	\n	\n	100\,000 people will have accessed AsIAm Training\n	\n	\n	500 schools\, 10 universities and 50 communities will\n	\n	\n	access our targeted programme\n	\n	\n	10\,000 ID Cardholders issued\n	\n\n\n \n\n \n\nWe are thrilled to invite you to participate in our Winter Wellie Walk   it really couldn't be easier\, and it makes such a difference to the community we work with.\n\n \n\nWhere: Pick a walk\, a park\, a beach\, a forest\, a pitch in fact anywhere that is safe and you can wear your boots and wellies.\n\nWhen: Choose your own day of the week\, pick your own time and pick your own month this Winter.\n\nWho:  Get your family involved\, include the generations\, encourage your school\, your work colleagues and sport groups to participate with you or stage their own Winter Wellie Walk\n\nWhat: What do I do now\, register for the Winter Wellie Walk\, and we will send out an online pack with a link which allows you to create your own iDonate page\, some fundraising tips and supports to maximise your efforts.
