An excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work within a key customer support role for Glatt in Ireland. This is an exciting and diverse role in a niche industry and will suit a person who likes to be challenged and has a good attitude and open mind to his/her work scope. A strong character with the ability to self-manage is required.
The candidate should have a broad technical background with mechanical and electrical experience and a good understanding of controls, pneumatics and instrumentation.
Important to note this is a hands on/off role for Glatt. You will be very active on-site and sometimes hands on works are an integral part of this role and although strong administration/IT skills are required this role is not fulfilled exclusively from behind a desk.
The job function will by necessity involve periods of time spent travelling to, working at, and travelling from customer sites in Ireland primarily and possibly in the UK. Staying away from home for short to medium term periods is to be expected, especially during project installation phases where you can be away from home on a regular basis (i.e., Mon- Fri). Overseas working is also a possibility, and it is a good opportunity to travel and support Glatt projects worldwide.
A third level technical qualification is desirable here (but not essential).
The candidate should be able to work well within a tight technical team that has a high skill set and possess an excellent work attitude and the ability to quickly develop and maintain successful working relationships with Glatt customers and Glatt colleagues.
Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills are required.
A respect for on-site Health & Safety requirements is absolutely necessary.
Full clean driver’s licence is important.
Must be legally eligible to work in IRL, if not an Irish citizen.
Permanent position on offer after successful completion of a pre agreed probation period. Potential to progress to a more senior position within the team if the candidate shows the appropriate aptitude and skill set in due course.
A strong remuneration package with other significant employment benefits will be available to the right candidate.
