We are the UK & Ireland’s leading supplier of new trains and train services, and a leading signalling and rail infrastructure provider. In 2021, we signed a ten-year framework agreement with Irish Rail for up to 750 new X’trapolis commuter rail cars for the DART network. The X’trapolis fleet will be the most sustainable fleet of trains in Irish transport history, a big step towards making rail even more sustainable while transforming the passenger experience in the Greater Dublin area and beyond. We look forward to playing an active role in the development of a fast, frequent and electrified suburban commuter rail network across the Cork metropolitan area, supporting the 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities designation.
