As CEO of IrDEA, Yvonne advocates for the use of district energy to decarbonise Ireland’s heat sector as part of a just transition to net zero. With qualifications in BIS Development and Design, Geography, Law, and Teaching and Learning, and an ongoing PhD in Political Science, Yvonne brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her work. Having spent her early career as a Parliamentary Assistant and Technical Group Coordinator in Dail Eireann, Yvonne has put her expertise in parliamentary, political, and governmental affairs to use in delivering strategy, policy, programmes, and campaigns for a range of nonprofit, academic, and corporate sector organisations. She has done this across a range of thematic areas, including energy, human rights, community development, public participation, and democratic processes.
