RKD Architects

Johan is a graduate from The University of the Free State in Bloemfontein South Africa in 1985 and practiced for fifteen years in Pretoria and Johannesburg as founder member of PDS Architects and Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers.

In 2001 Johan joined RKD Architects and was appointed Director in April 2004 with the following responsibilities: Architectural Design, Business Development and Bid Preparation, Practice Management, Resource Management and Recruitment, Client Liaison, and Risk Management.

Johan gained experienced in the design, management and completion of projects in the Healthcare, 3rd Level Education, Research and Technology, Pharmaceutical and Commercial Sectors. His experience in the Healthcare, Education, and Research Sectors was supplemented by significant projects completed in the Middle East and Africa.
