About Us
The Institute of Applied AI helps life science organisations show that their use of AI is governed, compliant and under control. With the EU AI Act in force and Ireland’s Regulation of Artificial Intelligence Act 2026 signed into law, pharmaceutical and medtech leaders are being asked by regulators, client quality functions and boards to evidence a governance position.
We work in three scoped steps.
- A Governance Diagnostic maps where the organisation stands and what would not hold up under inspection. -
- An enablement programme builds governance competence in proportion to each role.
- Evidence and assurance support puts in place the documentation to demonstrate compliance on request, mapped to the EU AI Act and GxP obligations.
