About Us

West Cork Distillers is based in Skibbereen, Co Cork. The distillery was founded in 2003 by three childhood friends, John O'Connell, Ger McCarthy and Denis McCarthy. The distillery produces the world renowned West Cork Irish Whiskey and Garnish Island Gin ranges. It also has a significant contract and ingredients business. The distillery employs up to 150 people and exports to 60 countries.
