I Wish, Ireland’s award-winning social enterprise dedicated to inspiring the next generation of women in STEM, has appointed award-winning communications agency Springboard Communications as its corporate communications agency. Springboard will advise I Wish on communications strategy and campaigns. The appointment comes as the volunteer-led initiative embarks on the next phase of its advocacy programme with a year-long plan of action.
Commenting on the announcement, Gillian Keating, Co-Founder of I Wish said: “At I Wish we are committed to tackling the gender imbalance in STEM and create a level playing field for the next generation. As part of this, our goal is to reach every girl in Ireland. For us the right communications partner is one who shares our values and commitments. That’s why we’re pleased to be partnering with Springboard Communications and look forward to our work ahead.”
Managing Director of Springboard Communications, Susie Horgan said: “We are delighted to be working with I Wish on such an important campaign. This is an issue that means a lot to me personally and I am so pleased we can support I Wish to help them communicate their passion. At Springboard we strive to be the best and work for the best and this partnership is evidence of this in action. We very much looking forward to working together.”
The partnership announcement comes at a time of continued growth for Springboard, which rebranded from Springboard PR & Marketing to Springboard Communications last year. The company also announced new services in internal communications and thought leadership. With a shift worldwide to remote working and a digital-first focus, the new services are enabling Springboard Communications to accelerate its strategic growth and fulfil its ambitions in partnership with clients.
