Sustainability Strategies: Driving Long-Term Success through Sustainable Action

Sustainability Strategies: Driving Long-Term Success through Sustainable Action

The Sustainable Cork Programme (SCP) is designed to set a vision for a more sustainable and resilient Cork, empowered by a thriving business community.

Cork Chamber has been designated an SDG Champion (2024-2025) by the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, recognising our commitment to embedding the UN Sustainable Goals (SDGs) across our organisation. This event directly advances SDG 13: Climate Action by providing businesses with practical strategies to reduce carbon emissions, integrate sustainability into financial decision-making, and implement biodiversity action plans, all of which strengthen climate resilience and mitigation efforts.

As businesses navigate towards a more sustainable future, integrating practical and impactful sustainability strategies is essential, not just for regulatory compliance, but for long-term business resilience and success. Companies that embed sustainability into their core strategy see increased innovation, operational efficiency, and stakeholder trust.

Why you should attend:

- Simplify Sustainability: Learn how VSME and CSRD reporting guidelines can make sustainability manageable and actionable for your business.
- Biodiversity as a Business Asset:  Understand why integrating biodiversity action plans is crucial for long-term resilience and trust.
- Sustainable Finance for Growth: Discover how sustainability-driven financial decisions can enhance business success and investment opportunities.

Speakers:
