All Ireland Oyster Shucking Competition
As part of the Cork Oyster & Seafood Festival, the Metropole Hotel will host an All Ireland Oyster Shucking Competition on Sunday 23rd September 2018 from 3pm to 5pm.
This incredibly fun event is one for all to attend and enjoy and will happen at the hotel from 3pm until 5pm.
The event will be Judged and MCed by the incredibly talented Derry Clarke from L'Ecrivian Restaurant and also by Patrick McMurray from Toronto in Canada - also known as Paddy Shucker who is a 2 time Guiness World Record Holder for Oyster Shucking.
Chef's will compete and one will be awarded the Cork Oyster & Seafood All Ireland Oyster Shucking Champion!!!!
This event is only €5 for entry and the full proceeds will be donated to the RNLI.
