April Business Breakfast featuring Seamus Fives, Pfizer

Cork Chamber is proud to announce Seamus Fives, Site Leader at Pfizer as the guest speaker for the April Business Breakfast in association with Irish Examiner.

Seamus became the Pfizer Site leader for both the Ringaskiddy & Little Island sites in January 2011, after a career which included roles as Finance Director for Ireland/Singapore, Operations Lead roles for the Cork Sites and Network Strategy Team Leader. Seamus has worked his entire professional career in manufacturing and is currently Chair of BioPharmachem Ireland.

Seamus was also Site Leader in 2015, when Pfizer reversed a plan to close the plant in Little Island, saving 160 jobs. He has been involved with the Site since 1999 and Site Leader since 2008 so this was a particularly positive announcement for Seamus. He stated that this turnaround “is an example of how continuing to focus on competitiveness and adding business value generates business opportunities”
