Award Winning Marketing - Mii Cork Launch

The Marketing Institute of Ireland Cork (MII Cork), Ireland’s voice of marketing and home of senior marketing professionals, is set to launch its 2016/2017 calendar of events on the 24^th of this month.

Themed ‘Award Winning Marketing’, the event will unveil an impressive programme to an audience of marketers, social influencers, content creators, bloggers, pr people and other ad land professionals from the region in a party-like atmosphere, fueled by sponsors and award winning venue The Bodega and their Christmas Party nights.   

Keynote speaker at the launch, Lorraine Walsh, Head of Marketing at Laya Healthcare, will address the marketing professionals, and outline her roadmap to achieving successful outcomes, the importance of differentiation, conviction in strategic planning, and the importance of consistency and measurement. 
Lorraine Walsh is Head of Marketing with Laya Healthcare. Earlier this year she led her team to success in claiming the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the All Ireland Marketing Awards (AIMAWARDS), run by the Marketing Institute. Laya Healthcare also won a Great Place to Work Award this year. Lorraine holds responsibility for advertising, sponsorship, PR, and internal communications, along with digital and social media. She led the development of the rebrand of Laya Healthcare following the management led buyout in 2012. SMhe has been with the business for over 10 years. Laya healthcare is the second largest health insurer in the market.

This launch event at the 4-star River Lee Hotel in Cork city commences at 6pm, and brings together members of the Marketing Institute and their guests in an opportunity to network, share and learn. Complimentary refreshments and finger food will be served with the compliments of The River Lee Hotel. There is no cover charge to attend, but online registration is essential, as places are limited.
