Join us for a 54 hour virtual FinTech hackathon where diverse ideas collide
What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is an exciting event that brings together staff, students, coders, designers, business people – or anyone with a great idea – who then work together in teams to transform these ideas into tangible prototypes over the course of a few days.
Speaking on the upcoming hackathon, Neil Doyle, innovation design consultant at Ulster Bank, said: “Ulster Bank, supported by Dogpatch Labs and Microsoft, will hold its annual hackathon, Ireland’s largest fintech hackathon, this month, from 25 to 27 September. Anyone interested in being innovative and creative can sign up for the weekend hackathon.
“Once at the hackathon, they can join with others to develop and hack innovations for customers and the fintech industry.”
This year the team is looking for ideas that can help support or help to overcome challenges in any of the following areas:
Enterprise
Financial confidence and education
