Raise funds to help us challenge homelessness in Cork.
SSE Airtricity League champions Cork City FC have given their backing to the Focus Ireland Big Rebel Sleep Out which will take place at their Bishopstown training base on April 14.
Focus Ireland works with people who are homeless or are at risk of losing their homes across Ireland, and the top soccer team in the land are calling on the people of Cork to give their backing to the Big Rebel Sleep Out.
Working for the people of Cork since 2007, Focus Ireland provides a one to one advice and information service to people in danger of becoming homeless, a Youth Housing service which has supported 50 young people find much needed homes and providing 30 much needed homes for families and individuals who were previously homeless or at risk.
Focus Ireland Cork Manager Ger Spillane said: “As we continue to challenge homelessness locally and nationally, our service in Cork will treble the number of homes we provide by 2019. However, we need public support from the people of Cork to make this happen.”
Participants will receive support, advice and materials to help with fundraising in advance of the event, and on the night.
