Ian joined Munster Rugby as CEO in October 2019, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in sports management and a vision to drive the club’s growth on and off the pitch. 

Prior to Munster Rugby, Ian was Global Head of Football at Treble and advised and represented individuals on sports asset investment, acquisition and sale strategies. He has has held the position of senior sports consultant to DHL, creating the company’s global sports strategy and advising on their Rugby World Cup, Lions Rugby and Formula 1 sponsorships. He also created and negotiated the first ever stand-alone training kit partnership in the Premier League, between DHL and Manchester United in 2011 and held the position of Commercial Director at Leicester City FC during which time the club won the Premier League title.

Ian will discuss the future of Munster Rugby, outlining his vision and strategic plans to enhance competitiveness, drive commercial success and enhance community involvement.
