Business Owner Forum: BREXIT – An Exploration of the Opportunities
The Brexit vote has already impacted the Irish & Global business world, even though nothing has actually changed. The anticipation and uncertainty alone is affecting how consumers and businesses behave.
We are hosting a business owner forum on Wednesday 20th July, to discuss the dangers and explore the opportunities for Irish Business Owners.
We are looking for independent business owners who are looking to take ownership of this issue rather than wait for state involvement. This will be an interactive session where you will meet fellow business owners who will share opinions
It is most likely that the uncertainty regarding Britain’s membership of the EU will continue until 2017 at the earliest. It is unlikely that any new Prime Minister will invoke Section 50 of the Lisbon treaty until then.
In the meantime, we may be facing a period dominated by currency fluctuations, volatile markets and postponed investment decisions.
Every sector business will be affected. The media is focused on the dangers and less on the opportunities.
Smart business owners do not wait for political leadership or guidance from state bodies. The time to begin your plan of action is now.
You should attend if :-
• You are excited about the opportunities
• You like to think ‘outside the box’
• Your business may be impacted
• You have an opinion on the topic
• You export
• You import
• You are entrepreneurial
• Your industry is impacted
• You are not on holidays
