Castlemartyr Resort Charity Gala Dinner supporting Cork Penny Dinners

Castlemartyr Resort will be hosting its inaugural Gala Charity Dinner, on 5^th December 2024, and this year we are supporting Cork Penny Dinners. The event takes place at Castlemartyr Resort and will be Cork Penny Dinners flagship fundraising event of 2024. We aim to raise much needed funds for the men, women and families who need a nourishing hot meal in a safe environment. 
 
Cork Penny Dinners is a long-established charitable organisation whose core service is to offer a nourishing hot meal in a safe environment to all those in need. Cork Penny Dinners will operate for as long as there is a need. The aim is to provide a warm, dry place to sit and eat, with a welcoming atmosphere, no questions asked, no judgements made, all are welcomed. Their services are free of charge to those that need them, with friendly volunteers that ensure their service users are well looked after on a daily basis. Recently there has also been a huge increase in homelessness and mental health issues that are affecting so many people which have led them to avail of their services.

We envision the Cork Penny Dinners charity event to be one of Cork’s best attended social events, with over 200 attendees and dignitaries.
