Communicating Sustainability: Building Trust and Enhancing Credibility

Communicating Sustainability: Building Trust and Enhancing Credibility

The Sustainable Cork Programme (SCP) is designed to set a vision for a more sustainable and resilient Cork, empowered by a thriving business community.

As proud SDG Ambassadors, designated by the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment, Cork Chamber continues to embed the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across all our activities and initiatives. This event supports the broader achievement of the SDGs by promoting credible, transparent and responsible sustainability communications.

This session will highlight the growing importance of communicating sustainability with clarity and credibility in an evolving regulatory landscape. It will explore how businesses can avoid greenwashing in light of the upcoming Green Claims Directive, and how embedding the SDGs can support meaningful climate action and social impact while strengthening audience trust.

Why you should attend:
- Find out how to make sure your sustainability claims are clear, accurate and well supported
- Learn how to translate complex sustainability activity into engaging narratives that build trust and organisational credibility
- Discover practical approaches to engaging target audiences through sustainability communications that truly resonate
