Concert for Conservation - Wildlife Madagascar
Cork-based quartet Cascade Strings presents Untamed Melodies – A Celebration of Global Biodiversity, an evening of classical renditions of wildlife-inspired hits in the Auditorium of the state-of-the-art Education, Conservation and Research Centre at Fota Wildlife Park.
The Concert for Conservation setlist will include string interpretations of beloved standards like The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Hey Hey We're the Monkeys, and Bare Necessities.
The event is held to raise funds for Wildlife Madagascar, a conservation organisation that collaborates with communities to conserve Madagascar’s extraordinary biodiversity. The evening will include a short presentation about the conservation programmes at Fota Wildlife Park, and the efforts being undertaken to help save endangered species from extinction in Madagascar. An hour-long concert from the quartet, Cascade Strings, will follow.
Tickets for the concert are priced at €25 (plus a booking fee if purchasing from Eventbrite).Tickets must be purchased in advance on Eventbrite, or at Fota Wildlife Park at reception or by calling us on 021 4812678.
