COOGAN'S BLUFF

The first collaboration between director Don Siegel and actor Clint Eastwood is the rollicking crime thriller COOGAN’S BLUFF, which could be described as an “Eastern Western”. Eastwood stars as Walt Coogan, an Arizona deputy sheriff who accompanies an extradited prisoner to New York City. However, Coogan walks into a trap and the prisoner escapes. Now the westerner must use his skills to track down his prey on the streets of Manhattan, coming up against crooks, hippies and world-weary cops along the way.
