“Grand Job?” is an advocacy campaign led by Cope Foundation to support people with intellectual disabilities to find real paid and sustainable employment.
If you are interested in including people with disabilities in your workplace and bringing benefits to your business at the same time, come along to our free breakfast briefing on Friday 8th April at the Radisson Hotel, Little Island to find out more.
Hear from Sinead Kane who has only 5% vision and is a solicitor, motivational speaker and athlete.
Meet and hear from other employers who have successfully employed someone with a disability.
Get information on the support schemes available to employers from the Dept of Social Protection and the supports that Cope Foundation can offer.
Why should I get involved in Grand Job?
• It will fulfil your Corporate Social Responsibility obligations as an employer.
• It pays to be inclusive – under the Wage Subsidy Scheme, the Dept of Social Protection will pay €5.30 towards the hourly wage of a person with an intellectual disability who is working for 21+ hours per week in private companies.
• Availability of free disability awareness training provided by Cope Foundation for you and your employees plus ongoing support from our Job Facilitators once someone starts employment with you.
• It is an opportunity to change someone’s life for the better and create truly inclusive workplaces.
