Cork Arts Society Annual Members Exhibition 2026

Cork Arts Society Annual Members Exhibition 2026

Opening reception Thursday 26 March 5.30-7.30pm

Exhibition tour, Saturday 11 April, 3pm

An exhibition of artwork by artist members including painting, sculpture, print, photography, ceramics and textiles.

Since Cork Arts Society (now trading as Lavit Gallery) was founded in 1963, membership has been an important contributor to the longevity of the organisation. Membership was initiated as a means of supporting the activities of the society. Membership is still open to all but artists members continue to be Lavit Gallery’s most loyal supporters and so a members only open call is offered in the form of the Annual Members Exhibition.

Each year, an appointed panel of three guest selectors choose approximately 90-100 out of over 300 artworks submitted by artist members, who range from amateur artists to seasoned professionals. The judging panel for 2026 were Katie O'Grady, Curator of Exhibitions + Projects at The Glucksman, Michael Quane RHA, artist and Sarah Foster, Lecturer at MTU Crawford College of Art & Design. This year 393 artworks were submitted with a maximum of 3 pieces allowed per artist member. A total of 107 artworks were selected. Of the approximately 147 members who submitted 72 are participating in the exhibition.

The artist members exhibiting in 2026 are Lone Beiter, Patricia Bevan, Vivienne Bogan, Katherine Boucher Beug, Mary Bowen Galvin, Deirdre Brennan, Rachel Burke, Síomha Callanan, Judy Carroll Deeley, Darren Francis Cassidy, Ivonne Coccaglio, Ann Collins,  Siobhán Collins, Theresa Cullinane, Marjorie Cunningham, Dominic Daly, Gerard Daly, Wendy Dison, Helen Duncan, Felix Faulkner, Pat Fitzgerald, Ann Franey, Anita Geaney, Mags Geaney, Evelyn Goold, Hilda Goold, Éadaoin Glynn, Joanne Harold, Carol Healy, Maria Healy,  Joseph Heffernan, Sandy Hicks, Elizabeth Hogan, Olivia Howe, Dee Hurley, Hammond Journeaux, David Kavanagh, Julie Kelleher, Jo Kelley, Anne Kiely,  Paul La Rocque, Frances Leach, Raphael Llewellyn, Sabina Lucas, Damaris Lysaght,  Bríd Moynahan, Ann Murphy, Éilis Ní Fhaoláin, Denis O’Brien, Noël O’Callaghan, Olivia O’Keefe, Billie Adele O’Regan, Emma O’Shaughnessy, Margaret O’Sullivan, Roser Perez, Dee Pieters, Mark Powell, Finola Power, Ben Reilly,  Jenny Richardson, Éadaein Samuels, Thomas Scerri, Diana Skalkos, Jenny Snashall, Anne Marie Stanley, Lesley Stothers, Inge Van Doorslaer, Grace Vaughan, Ursula Walsh, Hazel Warren, Tracy White Fitzgerald, Richard Winfield.
