Cork Society Firewalk for Charity 2024
The Chartered Accountants Cork Society invite you to participate in our Firewalk for Charity on Thursday, 24 October 2024 at The Kingsley Hotel, Cork.
This event promises an exhilarating experience as you walk over glowing coals, break through personal barriers, and raise much-needed funds for our amazing charity partners.
Who can take part: We invite all Chartered Accountants, friends and family (over 18) based in Cork and the surrounding areas to participate. You do not need to be a member to participate in this fundraising event.
What to Expect: The evening kicks off with an introduction and safety briefing before we light the fire together. As the fire transforms into glowing coals, we will guide you through empowering activities, including the Arrow Break exercise, preparing you for the grand finale—the Firewalk! The event also includes a BBQ for participants and guests alike.How to Register: The registration fee is €150 and spaces are limited. We ask that you fundraise a minimum of €150 for the event to cover the registration fee, which you can donate to the cause or use to reimburse yourself.
Further instructions for setting up your fundraising page through iDonate to make it easy for friends and family to sponsor you will be shared with you once you have registered. Register by Thursday, 17 October 2024 to secure your place.
Can I Bring Guests? Yes! Spectators are welcome to join from 7:30 PM, enjoy the BBQ, and watch the firewalk. However, please email to confirm you will be bringing guests and note they will not be able to participate in the workshop.
