Countdown to COP26: Growing our Celtic Cities in the Climate Emergency
Join us for this informative event which will look at a collaborative approach to addressing the Climate Emergency ahead of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26).
We are delighted to partner with Causeway: Ireland Scotland Business Exchange, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and Dublin Chamber for this virtual networking event which will include discussions from representatives from each city, as well as interactive networking sessions to allow attendees, from both sides of the Irish Sea to have the opportunity to connect, chat, and share insights from their city on tackling the climate crisis.
SPEAKERS:
- Cork - James Duggan, Director, Arup will discuss smart buildings and urban development in Cork
- Dublin - Benjamin Bell, Director of Public Policy Northern Europe, TIER Mobility will discuss sustainable transport in Dublin
- Edinburgh - The City of Edinburgh Council will speak on 2030 Sustainability Strategy for the City
- Glasgow - Dr Roddy Yarr, Executive Lead Sustainability, University of Strathclyde will discuss the Climate Neutral Innovation Project that will be launched at COP26
