Developing SME ‘resilience’ through digitalisation
This event in partnership with Enterprise Europe Network Ireland will demonstrate how SMEs can use digital transformation to make changes to business processes and business models to practically assist in offsetting the economic impact of crisis including Covid-19.
This session will also feature workshop, not to missed on ‘Digital Essentials - Mindset, Strategy & Opportunities’.
Digitalisation integrates physical and digital systems, innovative business models and processes which can lead to the creation of smart products, services and significant improvement of productivity. For example, 3D printing makes the production process faster and cheaper, data analysis increases the efficiency of products, digital databases for real time checks facilitate management, and digital technology makes the acquisition of materials and parts easier [DigitaliseSME, 2020].
