We’re delighted to invite you to the Cork Midsummer Showcase — a specially curated cultural experience for Business to Arts Members, in partnership with Cork Midsummer Festival, Cork Opera House, and a host of our Cork City Arts Members.
Over two days, you’ll explore the vibrant arts scene of Cork, with VIP access to performances, visual arts, and exclusive networking opportunities.
If you are not already based in the real capital ;-) , we'd love this to be a great opportunity for a visit Leeside and a chance to really delve into Cork's thriving arts scene. Be sure to share with your Munster-based colleagues also!
Dates: Friday 20th – Saturday 21st June 2025

6:00 – 8:30 pm | BtoA Welcome Reception @ Cork Opera House
We are excited to welcome you all and kick off our Misummer celebrations in style with drinks and canapés, networking, music, and little breakaways to immersive dance and theatre for our lucky guests as follows:
6:00 - 8:00 pm | Immersive Dance and Theatre @ BtoA Welcome Reception ( Limited Capacity, Live Draw for Performance Access)
‘Lien’ by Lewis Major | One-on-one dance encounters @ Cork Opera House in the Green Room. (Duration 5-10 mins)
‘Theatre for One’ by Landmark Productions | Micro-theatre in a purpose-built booth @ Emmet Place in front of Cork Opera House. (Duration 5-10 mins)
9:00 pm | ‘Burnout Paradise’ by PonyCam @ Dance Cork Firkin Crane. (Duration 65 min, Prebooking Required)
Following your music, dance and theatre sampling at our Welcome Reception, continue the evening just an 8-minute walk away with some comedy & dance on treadmills at Dance Cork Firkin Crane! In this exhilarating and chaotic performance, Pony Cam exposes the absurdity of a system that demands more than we can give. As the tasks escalate, so too does the realisation - this was never a fair game. Don't worry, you won't be forced on a treadmill, but you may risk enjoying yourself too much!
