Diversity Matters in partnership with The Institute of Banking South Region Committee
Low levels of diversity in key decision-making roles in banks and financial services firms creates excessive risks and can inhibit necessary cultural change. While some firms are starting to make progress, much more needs to be done to increase diversity.
You will hear from keynote speaker, Ed Sibley, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, followed by a panel of influential speakers including our president, Paula Cogan to discuss diversity and inclusion, chaired by The Institute of banking CEO, Mary O'Dea.
Ed Sibley has more than 20 years' experience working in the financial services sector. His previous experience includes working for the UK Financial Services Authority, leading the supervision of European banks operating in the UK; and a variety of risk management roles in Bank of Ireland and PwC.
