Dress for Success Cork Fundraiser - Night at the Dogs at Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium

Dress for Success Cork will be hosting a fundraiser night at the dogs at Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium on Saturday 26^th May.
 
Dress for Success Cork is an independent, registered not-for-profit organisation educating and training women to re-enter the workplace.  It was founded by Carmel O’Keeffe and opened in Cork in October 2013.
 
Dress for Success Cork fills a vital need in Cork city and county by picking up where social services agencies leave off, extending a lifeline of job retention and life management programmes that help clients succeed in job interviews, thrive in the workplace, build careers and improve the quality of life for their families.
 
At January 2018 and since opening in October 2013, we have had just under 650 clients through our doors.
Of these clients:

• 68% have successfully secured employment

• A further 148 have gone onto further education and training.

Balancing work with family responsibilities is never easy, but our women do it to set a positive example for their children giving them a greater chance at success themselves.
 
Dress for Success Cork is run on an entirely voluntary basis.  Our database of volunteers comprises professionals who willingly offer their expertise and time to work with our clients and help strengthen a framework of support that helps our clients address new challenges and overcome barriers to long-term success.
 
We are looking for support from businesses in Cork and there are a number of ways that you can help. We have a variety of sponsorship packages to suit your needs and budget and you can also purchase tickets to attend for your team, family and friends!
 
This will be a high profile event in the greyhound racing calendar and if you’re looking for a great team building night or something different to entertain clients then there’s no better atmosphere!
