On Thursday 9^th November, The Irish Commercial Mediation Association (ICMA) will host a free in-person seminar at 07.30am in the Clayton Hotel, Lapp's Quay, Cork.

This regional event entitled Effective Mediation – A Practical Perspective will provide practical insights on mediation in practice from some of the most experienced mediators, business influencers and lawyers operating in the dispute resolution space.

Speakers include:

• Mary Lou Kennedy, Mediator and Conflict Management Specialist, OAK Conflict Dynamics Ltd.

• Susan Moriarty, Head of Mass Action, State Claims Agency.

• Eamon Harrington, Partner, Comyn Kelleher Tobin, CEDR Accredited Mediator and former Chair of the Law Society’s ADR Committee

The seminar will provide an insight on how mediation works in practice, the challenges that can arise and how to overcome these, and the benefits for business in using mediation to resolve disputes.
