EU TRADE POLICY
This webinar has been specially organised for members by Chambers Ireland.
This session will feature MEP Barry Andrews and Elena Bryan, Senior Fellow, GMF’s Washington to discuss the review of EU Trade policy, and the challenges posed to EU Trade in coming years. A very timely discussion of EU-US trade relations will also be examined ahead of the American election polls opening.

Ian Talbot is Chief Executive of Chambers Ireland and Deputy President of EUROCHAMBRES. In this role, he serves as a Co-Chair of the Global Europe Committee which looks at preserving and improving our trade environment with stable, transparent, and fair trade rules that work for businesses of all sizes.
BARRY ANDREWS, MEP
Barry Andrews was recently elected as an MEP for Dublin in 2020 and is a member of the Committee on International Trade. As a Fianna Fáil TD he previously served as Minister of State for Children between 2008-2011. He has also served as Director-General of the Institute for International and European Affairs.
ELENA BRYAN
Elena Bryan joined GMF’s Washington office in April 2020 as a visiting senior fellow. Her work focusses on trade and investment, with a particular focus on the transatlantic economy and the overlap of U.S./EU economic relations with third countries. Prior to this, Elena was a senior trade representative at the U.S. Mission to the EU.
