This isn’t about the doom and gloom of business failures, this is a fun, light-hearted, open discussion on the failures that can happen in the entrepreneurial world and how they make us stronger as business people, how we learn from them, how they help our businesses grow and how they make us laugh along the way… Failure is an essential aspect of success and we embrace it! Irish culture traditionally avoided talking about failure and yet in the business world, your failures can often be greater than your successes. Businesses fail, projects collapse, and entrepreneurs learn quickly, this event will be an opportunity to hear from a panel of distinguished Cork based entrepreneurs and learn how failure brought about their success.

Eoin has been involved with a variety of businesses since he started working in marketing almost 30 years ago. Along the way he has worked with companies from Fortune 500 to micro-business level, and has started and scaled up several businesses, but believes that perhaps his greatest lessons came through business failure. At this event, Eoin will share some of these hard-won lessons in an effort to help others avoid the same fate, and share his story of recovery and rebuilding in difficult times.
