Fitzgerald Actuarial is partnering with Zurich in holding a topical pensions seminar entitled “20-20 Vision – Scheme Transformations”.
Agenda
Buffet Breakfast will be served from 8:30am with the Seminar commencing at 9:00am
Disruption of Market: An overview of all the factors leading to a move to transfers from DC and DB schemes to new arrangements
Managing Wind-ups & Transfers: Key issues in planning and managing the fallout
Key issues in a DC world: Value proposition, PRB and investment selection
Panel discussion
This seminar is aimed at Finance, HR and Benefit managers and would also be informative for trustees of group pension plans.
Michael Fitzgerald and John Grant of Fitzgerald Actuarial, both experienced pension professionals, will examine the drivers for change and the practical steps needed to be taken by employers and trustees as we move inexorably to a world of defined contribution (DC) schemes and the key issues in evaluating DC arrangements.
DC arrangements will also have to transform, in preparation for auto-enrolment. Rose Leonard, Head of Corporate Distribution & Customer Relationships, of Zurich will look at value propositions in this new DC world.
The Limerick Seminar starts promptly at 9:00 am on 5th December 2019 but we hope you can join us for a buffet breakfast from 8:30am.
Note: We are also holding the Seminar in Cork on 4th December 2019, please see the link here for further details.
