Glucksman Craft + Design Fair

Renowned Glucksman showcase of the best in Irish Craft + Design is back! 

From 11-13 November, Cork’s award-winning Glucksman gallery will be brimming with beautiful gifts and a seasonal opportunity to meet designers and craft artists, and buy and give Irish this Christmas. 
Over 50 selected participants will showcase their imaginative work in textiles, jewellery, print, ceramics, stationary, furniture, glass and woodturning. Held in the award-winning setting of the gallery’s bright and airy exhibition spaces, this year features a special focus on recent graduates, as well as an emphasis on sustainably made items to suit all ages, budgets and style. 
The Glucksman has been described as the ‘Champagne of Craft Fairs’ by designer Sonya Lennon, and Glucksman Director, Fiona Kearney noted:
“We are delighted to present our audiences with an opportunity to meet the makers, acquire unique gifts and shop local this festive season. This year, we will recognise the innovation and creativity of participants through a number of special awards to be announced on our opening night Friday 11 November. We are hugely honoured to welcome Rosemary Steen, CEO of the Design + Craft Council of Ireland to formally launch the event and present the awards.”.
