Guide Dog Day Fri 10th May 2019
Guide Dog Day on Friday 10th May 2019 is about Irish Guide Dogs Clients sharing stories about the difference our dogs have had in their family or community. This will enable us to raise much needed funds and increase awareness of the work we do and advocate for those who are vision impaired and the families of children with autism.
Whether you’re a small, medium or large company your contribution can make a huge difference to Guide Dog Day. There are so many ways you can help us change the lives of those who are vision impaired and families of children with autism.
- Give 2 hours of your time to join a Guide Dog Day collection; main locations Cork City, Ballincollig, Bandon, Clonakilty, Macroom, Kinsale, Blarney, Carrigaline, Millstreet and Charleville.
- Set up a Facebook Fundraiser and encourage your friends to support Guide Dog Day!
- Place one of our Guide Dog Day collection boxes in a high footfall area of your workplace like Reception or in the canteen. Staff can give a donation and get one of our Guide Dog Day pins or our “independence” wristbands. We can also supply some PAWsome merchandise for those dog lovers in the workplace.
- Go Green for Guide Dog Day and host a coffee morning, bake sale or casual Friday – on May 10th of course!
