Hillfest Music festival and family fun weekend with 96FM supporting Watergrasshill Community and Pieta House. June Bank Holiday weekend, Watergrasshill Cork.
Hillfest is a locally organised and run event. An initiative from the Watergrasshill Community and National School association. Hillfest is an opportunity for clubs in the local area to work together, hold an event and raise much needed funds. Now in its 4th year Hillfest is a proven success and fun weekend.
Live Pig racing in the village has been the main attraction over the years and is accompanied by DJs, Food Stalls and Street Entertainment. A number of sporting and family fun events run across the whole weekend including a Family Fun Day on Monday 5th at just €10 per family.
This year the organisers have taken it up and level and with stages from Indiependence they have secured massive acts such as Aslan, Hamsandwich, The Rubberbandits, Frank & Walters and 10 more amazing artists. With support from our sponsors 96FM the Green Room DJ will also be there over the weekend. A full bar on site and great after-party planned makes this festival an event not to be missed!
